Class of 2020 Graduation Update

July 29, 2020

Please join Salpointe Catholic High School for a festive, personalized graduation celebration and diploma presentation honoring the members of the Class of 2020!

Graduates and their families are invited to Salpointe’s Foundation Hall on August 4/5 to celebrate this significant achievement. Wearing caps and gowns, graduates will walk across the stage and receive their diplomas, awards, graduation programs and congratulations. As a reminder, masks must be worn and social distancing must be practiced on Salpointe’s campus.

Parents, you’ll have the opportunity to film your student receiving his/her diploma and to take family photos at the Lancer photo backdrop.

Salpointe is producing a professional graduation video featuring student and faculty speakers, awards recognition, senior slideshow and the presentation of graduates. This video will be debuted on Salpointe’s YouTube Channel on Thursday, August 6 at 5:30 p.m. We hope that this video will become a treasured keepsake memorializing the strength and character of the members of this remarkable class. More details to follow.

Salpointe shares your sadness and disappointment that we are unable to bring the Class of 2020 together once last time as planned to celebrate this momentous milestone. Governor Ducey’s decree disallowing gatherings of more than 50 people and Bishop Weisenburger’s suspension of liturgical celebrations during this pandemic have left us having to cancel our plans for a traditional celebration. We have educated your students, cared for them and prayed with them these past four years. Salpointe is proud of their accomplishments and grateful for the opportunity to celebrate them.
