General Announcements

Early Dismissal/Leaving Campus
Attendance Line number is 520-327-1990.
Please be sure to give at least a two hour notice for your request to be processed. All early dismissal requests are retrieved from voicemail. We do not have an intercom system, we have TAs taking passes to class to get students dismissed.
 
After-School Tutoring
Tutoring will resume on Monday, January 22 and run every week, Monday-Thursday. Tutoring in Math, English, Science, Social Studies, Theology and Spanish will be each day 3:00 p.m.–4:15 p.m. Students should report to the sign in table between Rooms 408 and 411. Everyone is welcome. Attendance for tutoring can be viewed through myPointe to monitor students' participation (check attendance) For the list of daily tutors, click here.

Lady Lancer Brunch & Blessing Donations Needed
We are also seeking donations for our beautiful raffle baskets for our Lady Lancer Brunch & Blessing. Please complete our Donation Form and bring it with the item(s) to the Advancement Office Room 606 by January 26, 2024.

Salpointe Sweethearts
Did Salpointe play a part in your love story? If you and your partner first locked eyes at a Lancer football game, bonded at a Kairos retreat or just passed by each other in the busy halls, we want to hear from you this Valentine's Day! Email us at myschs@salpointe.org with a photo of you two, along with your name and graduation years (bonus points if you have a throwback photo and a current one) and a short description of how you met and fell in love for a chance to be featured. Please email us by Monday, February 5th.
 
SAPAC Alice by Heart Performances
Come see some of our Lancer thespians perform in a musical based on Alice in Wonderland, but with a twist! Show dates are January 19th and 26th at 6:30 p.m. To purchase tickets, click here.
 
Harvard LEAD Conference
Are you a Latina student looking to bolster your professional skills? Join Harvard for their annual LEAD conference! Hear from Latina professionals in diverse fields and have the opportunity to network! The Harvard Undergraduate Latina Empowerment and Development Conference (Harvard LEAD) is an annual professional development event hosted by Latina students. Driven Latina high schoolers and college students from around the country are invited to join Harvard on campus and hear from wonderfully accomplished speakers, participate in workshops and learn how to network.

College Scholarships and Financial Aid
The Dorrance Scholarship Program was established in 1999 to provide financial and academic support for Arizona’s eligible first-generation college students, awarding 60 scholarships annually to incoming freshmen attending the state’s three public universities. The scholarship and program value are estimated at $100,000 and the deadline is next Wednesday, January 31.
 
Seniors looking for additional scholarships can access our Scholarship List Class of 2024.
 
Families interested in completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) with local college representatives who are financial aid experts can register to join us this Monday, January 22 at 5:00 p.m. in Foundation Hall for a FAFSA workshop. Filling out the FAFSA opens opportunities for grants and work-study opportunities for students going to college.

Arizona Tuition Connection - Scholarship Coaching Session
Monday, January 22 at 6:00 p.m.
Do you have questions about what scholarships your family can receive? Learn how there are scholarships available for all students in low, medium and high income families. It is not too late to receive funding; Arizona Tuition Connection does not have any application deadlines! This one hour training will give you the education and tools you need to be successful in maximizing your scholarship awards. Every parent should plan on attending! We will meet on campus in the Click Family Library. 

Institute for Better Education - Tax Credit Presentation
Tuesday, January 23 at 6:00 p.m.
Please join us in the Click Family Library for a presentation on Arizona Tax Credits given by the Institute for Better Education (IBE). IBE will provide helpful information on how to utilize the Arizona State Tax Credit Program to fund your student's tuition here at Salpointe. This presentation is open to all parents and/or any potential Tax Credit Donors looking for more information. We look forward to seeing you there!
