Women's team 1st, Men's team 2nd in 5 way meet at Rio Rico
The women's team, even with two varsity runners not competing because of injuries, easily defeated Rio Rico, Walden Grove, Florence and Sabino.
The men's team, with a very uneven team effort, placed second.
The teams now have 10 days to prepare for their next race -- the competitive Desert Twilight Invitational in Casa Grande on September 30.
